The JEE Main 2025 Application form correction window will remain open on November 26 and 27, 2024. As per the NTA official notification, the JEE 2025 Main registration for session 1 is available for the students till November 22, 2024, (up to 9 PM). NIT Hamirpur BTech admission process will begin on June10 with JoSAA registration. The NTA released the JEE Main session 2 paper 1 result on April 24. Along with result, NTA also released scorecards. Candidates can download scorecards using their application number, date of birth and security pin. JoSAA will release cutoff for multiple rounds of BTech admission at NIT Hamirpur in June and July 2024. For admission to M.Tech courses, GATE COAP 2024 round 2 seat allotment results has been released. The last date to exercise their options was May 22, 2024.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur is one of the country's 31 NITs, founded on August 7, 1986, as Regional Engineering College, a collaborative and cooperative venture of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh. At the time of its founding, NIT Hamirpur only had two departments, Civil and Electrical Engineering, each with a 30-student intake. It was elevated to the National Institute of Technology and given the status of Deemed University on June 26, 2002. NIT Hamirpur is a national institute established by an act of Parliament, the National Institute of Technology Act 2007, which the President of India signed on June 5, 2007. The provisions of the Act took effect on August 15, 2007, as per Department of Higher Education, MHRD, New Delhi notice S.O. 1384 (E) dated August 9, 2007.
The NIT Hamirpur NIRF Ranking 2023 was released by the Minister of State for Education and External Affairs. The institute was ranked 28 in the Architecture and Planning category with a score of 51.54. In the year 2022, the NIRF ranking was 26 in the Architecture category with a score of 50.06. This year the Architecture category was changed to a broader category called Architecture and Planning. NIT Hamirpur was ranked in the Architecture and Planning category in the NIRF Ranking list.
